Proverbs  4:7                       5/23/19                        ~  WISDOM  ~

7  Wisdom is the principal thing;  therefore get wisdom:  and in thy getting  get understanding. 

Now this is Coach Sojo’s Favorite Passage at the moment.  The one he has memorized.  A very general,  common sense statement,  means just what it says to you . . .  yet powerful none the less.  Also note,  that when you hear Proverbs 4:1-27  it is talking about wisdom passed down from our earthly fathers to their young ones.  ( or if none are present,  please seek out other wise men,  who shall teach you things,  that need to be known )   Young men,  need to heed these words especially.  Therefore becoming wise!  Do these things mentioned and you shall have riches unto you,  beyond belief,  from your ( our ) God,  because of your obedience,  to Him and His Word.

So says the Lord,  throughout scripture.

Romans  10:1 – 4                       7/8/19              ~  GOD  vs.  satan through Faith  ~

1  Brethren,  my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is,  that they might be saved.

2  For I bear them record that they have a zeal for of God,  but not according to knowledge.

3  For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness,  and going about to establish their own righteousness,  have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

4  For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

Since the majority of these passages deal with family,  they shall be shown here for the sole purpose of our students going about,  trying to obtain a certain kind of understanding we would like them all to attain.  So,  let’s get into it,  shall we . . .

20:7    The just man walketh in his integrity:  his children are blessed after him.

11  Even a child is known by his doings,  whether his work be pure,  whether it be right.

20  Whoso curseth his father or his mother,  his lamp shall be put out in obscure darkness.

29   The glory of young men is their strength:  and the beauty of old men is the grey head.

21:8  The way of man is froward and strange:  but as for the pure,  his work is right.

16   The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.
